Michael Joseph Stout

Michael Jospeh Stout, 41, born on December 1, 1984, in Houston, Texas passed away peacefully with both his parents by his side on May 4, 2026.

Mikey grew up in Sussex, New Jersey, and in his early 20’s moved back to Houston, Texas with the rest of his family. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, hiking, and riding his bike. He had a smile that was infectious and a laugh that could light up room. Mikey also struggled with addiction, the pain this caused his family is unbearable, but we are at peace that he is no longer suffering and is in God’s hands now.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Chuck and Ruth Stout, Tomasa and Pablo Avila, Manuel Maldonado. His Aunts; Mary Ellen Stout, Yvonne Maldonado, Wanda, Maldonado, and second cousin Bradley Guillory.

He is survived by his loving parents; Esperanza Moorhead (Michael), Jack Stout (Michele), stepsister; Meghan Moorhead (Alex), Aunts; Cynthia King and Ameila Smith, cousins; Tonya Gentsch, Chantell Velasquez (Sabin), Antionette Prasit (Rick), and Angela Velasquez, second cousins; Giovanni Kuy (Nikki), Erin Guillory, Victoria Sjoberg, and Gage Oakley. Third cousins; Knowledge Acosta, Galilea Longoria and Truth Longoria and Lifelong friend/brother Rob Maloney.

Mikey’s family will get together in July and celebrate his life together.
