Linda Yarborough Brdecka, 75, beloved mother, wife, Grandma, GG, and a great friend, went to heaven on July 4, 2026, right when the fireworks could be heard in the house. She was born on October 13, 1950, to Leon Yarborough and Ida May Schwarze Williams in Pasadena Texas.
If you knew Linda, she loved to be on the dance floor, two stepping to a good old country song by Billy Joe Royal or Conway Twitty, or line dancing with her family and friends. She had many lifelong friends but the two special people who had been there the most was: Darlene Rose and Lynn Hammond. Linda took great pride in her family, she would tell anyone with two ears about the accomplishments her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids would achieve. She spent her entire life focused on supporting and encouraging her children, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.
Linda is predeceased by her parents, her brother Gary Swartze, and her husband Louis Brdecka, who she loved dearly. She is survived by her brothers and a sister, Ronnie (David) Yarborough, Michael Yarborough, Scarlet Yarborough and Blake Yarborough. Her children, Lynette Adams, Kimberly Brown and Charles Brown. She was very proud of seven grandchildren, Mileena Wakefield, Cayenne Alexander, Sierra Adams, Ashton Brown, Preston Brown, Dexton Brown and Cara Brown. She also had two great grandchildren who loved calling her GG, Roselina Gomez and Raiden Gomez.
