Caroline Annette Pilcik Tondre

Caroline Annette Pilcik Tondre, age 77, went peacefully to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Methodist Hospital in Sugarland. Born January 10, 1947 in Wharton, TX, Caroline (known as Carol) was a graduate of East Bernard High School and shortly after met the love of her life, Robert Tondre. They married December 18, 1966 and had three beautiful children who her world revolved around. We can only imagine how beautiful she and Robert’s heavenly reunion was. She loved going to Rockport, fishing, dancing, Bible study and chatting with friends. Carol took great pride in having been self-employed for many years. Family was everything to her and she was everything to us. 

She is preceded in death by her mother Gertrude J. Krenek, her husband Robert Tondre and son-in-law Marvin Winstead. She is survived by her children: Robert “Pete” Tondre, Jr., Joann Winstead, and Katherine Tondre (Micah), her grandchildren: Zachary (Shelby), Nicole (Abigail), Samantha (Austin), Karleigh, Athena and Orion, as well as her great grandchildren: Eris, Oakes and Clementine. She is also survived by brothers Wilfred Krenek (Kay), Thomas Krenek (Marsha) and George Krenek (Carrie), sister Betty Jo Little (Joe), Aunt Charlotte Pilcik Bucek and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Family, friends, and all those whose lives Carol touched are invited to join her family in celebrating her life:

INTERNMENT: 11:00 AM (Holy Cross Cemetery)

LUNCHEON: In the Holy Cross Meeting Room immediately following the graveside service
